Endorsements...Endorsements...Endorsements.....

Musseman has proven over and over again, that he is the man for the job.

It is so difficult, as a lay person, to know which judges you should elect. One way you can do this, is look to those that you trust! Ask friends, relatives, or family you know....or another way - look at their endorsements. Here are Bill Musseman's.....

Dear Friends,
I have endorsed Bill Musseman for the 14th Judicial District in Tulsa and Pawnee Counties, and will be voting for him on November 2nd.   I want to introduce Bill to you and ask for your consideration of support.

For more than a decade, Bill Musseman served as a prosecutor in the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office.  As director of the murder and crime prosecution team, he has been involved with virtually every high profile criminal trial during the last decade.  Bill personally prosecuted more than 80 felony jury trials, 30 murder trials and 10 death penalty trials.

In his roll as prosecutor, Bill served with integrity and was known to be fair, honest, of good character and one who knows the law.  In December of 2009, those same attributes led to him being selected to serve as a Special Judge.

Judicial races are often overlooked because voters do not know what the judges stand for.
This is why I am sending you this information.  I have found Bill Musseman to be a man of integrity and worthy of your support.

Please join me and vote for Bill Musseman who I consider the best choice for District Judge in the 14th judicial race in Tulsa and Pawnee Counties.

Pass this onto your friends and neighbors to let them know about Bill Musseman.

Tim Harris, District Attorney makes District Judge Recommendation.....

Dear Friends,

I don't often make personal recommendations in political elections, but I feel compelled to tell you about a colleague and outstanding former assistant district attorney who is running for District Judge in the general election on November, 2nd, 2010.

For more than a decade, it has been my privilege to work with Bill Musseman as a prosecutor in the Tulsa County District Attorney's Office.

Beginning in 2005, Bill served as Chief of Homicide and Major Crimes Prosecution and has tried more than 80 felony jury trials, 30 murder trials and ten death penalty trials. He had tremendous success as a prosecutor and served with integrity, professionalism and compassion for victims of crime. In December of 2009, he was selected to serve as a Special Judge. It was a loss for my office, but Bill Musseman will continue serve the public with honor and distinction as a Judge.

I know Bill's experience and legal knowledge will make him a fine District Judge who will serve our community well. Too often, voters are hard-pressed to find adequate information to make informed decisions in important judicial races. We need men and women of integrity like Bill Musseman on the bench!

Please join me in supporting Bill Musseman for District Judge.

Sincerely,
Tim Harris

Letter from a Victim's Mother.....

Bill Musseman is a dedicated man who shines in honesty and integrity. I met Bill approximately three years ago while he was serving as Chief of Homicide and Major Crimes Prosecutions for the District Attorneys Office. You see, Bill was the prosecuting attorney in my daughters homicide case.

My daughter, Victoria Knight, was brutally murdered on June 5th, 2004. We went for three years without a suspect . During those three years the homicide detectives with the Tulsa Police Department worked tirelessly on our case. They followed every lead and left no page unturned. When it seemed all leads were exhausted, we got a break with a DNA match of an unknown blood type which was found at the scene of the crime. Charges were filed against Anthony Paul Mcclanahan for the murder of my daughter.

My daughter’s case went to Bill Musseman. Upon the initial visit with Bill, he explained that he had children and didn’t know what he would do if this happened to one of them. He shared his picture of his family. He talked with us as if we were people and not a case. To me, this speaks volumes as to the nature of Bill. We were important to him.

The case took several turns while at the District Attorneys Office. It remained under investigation until the day of conviction. Bill worked dilligently with the detectives at the Tulsa Police Department. Their relationship was one of dedication and getting the job done, yet of friendship and working together to see that Mcclanahan got the sentence he deserved.

Bill contacted us whenever he got something new in the case. He took into consideration everything we had to say and he always made us a part of the decision making process. He had a heart for us as a family while keeping integrity about the case as a whole. At times there were things about the case that Bill could not discuss with us, but he always made sure to tell us what he could without compromising the case. We could not have asked for more. Bill was honest with us and made sure he answered all of our questions.

In speaking from the family perspective, Bill Musseman treated us better than we ever expected. His honesty and integrity are the characteristics which made him shine. He asked me to tell him a little bit about my daughter. That was important to me, as a mother. The fact that he recognized my daughter, Vicki, as a person showed me that Bill had compassion for her as a victim.

Anthony Mcclanahan is serving a life sentence. After the hearing of which we had the support of Bill Musseman and the Tulsa Police Department, I handed Bill a picture of my daughter. With reserved emotion, he smiled and thanked me. She truly was someone to Bill Musseman. She was a person and a victim of whom Bill truly cared about.

With that being said, I believe this is the person I want to serve as District Judge. Bill Musseman! A man of experience in the courtroom, decisive decision making, professionalism, work ethic, honor, integrity, compassion and heart. You have got my vote, Bill!
